This programme line of the mentoring programme movement programme is aimed at female academics at Bielefeld University with a doctorate who wish to (further) qualify for a professorship or a leadership position in academia and would like to benefit from a diverse range of networking and workshop opportunities along the way.

The aim of the programme is to offer participants a framework in which they can develop authentic ways of dealing with the challenges of the academic world in exchange with mentors of their choice and other female academics, support each other in decision-making processes and develop coherent future prospects.

With an average of one meeting per month, the programme structure offers continuous support, which experience has shown can also be integrated into busy schedules.

The programme runs for 18 months and begins every two years in October (in odd-numbered years).

For female scientists who are interested in a career in medicine in research/teaching/clinical work or a medical-related field, there are special qualification paths and framework conditions with movement.med offers a relevant programme.
